The Oracle knows all and sees all. The first in the artist’s Goddess series, The Oracle is notable in that it is one of the first creations by the artist using a bas relief technique, carving glass from the front. This gives the piece stunning textural complexity, which, when combined with color, gold leaf and jewels, creates a sparkling glowing presence in the room, regardless of the time of day or night. In full sun, or by the light of a single flickering candle, the Oracle radiates. Her face is the color of the carved glass beneath.

Many of the techniques used in the creation of the original piece are incorporated into the artist’s unique reproductions.
